Serendipity’s footsteps

Historical fiction isn’t really my thing but looking at the description of the book I figured I would give it a try and I’m glad I did. This is an amazing novel about strength, hardships, and love and the whole story revolves around a pair of shoes. This would definitely be a book you would see Emma Watson advocating, as it is very empowering. I didn’t really care for Ray, she was just so pessimistic. But Dalya and Pinny are wonderfully optimistic. It’s a more positive and inspirational Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and definitely leaves you thinking about WWII times as well as our foster care system of today.  I HIGHLY recommend this book to all females, young and older. Thank you Suzanne Nelson for sending me a copy!
